At Business Insight, we believe that Strategic Thinking is a practiced art, grounded in sound analysis of markets, industries, sectors and economies, and the competitive position of the client.  We assist clients in the process of strategic thinking using the methodologies appropriate to the position of the client company in the industry or product cycle and where it is in its strategic planning cycle.  This is based on a belief that strategy is ‘emergent’ and is not static.  Strategy itself has to ‘evolve’ and the critical processes in so-called ‘strategic planning’ are really about uncovering the required pace and direction of the company’s evolution.  The objective of our interventions is to increase the chances of success of our clients’ strategic plans in the implementation phase, by evolving a strategy that is well thought out and supported by a sound analysis of markets and an honest assessment of capabilities.
