• CARIBBEAN INVESTOR CONFERENCE 2008- The 2008 Caribbean Investor Conference was held on May 27th and 28th, 2008 at the Hyatt Regency Port of Spain, Trinidad. The conference reviewed performance and prospects in the stock markets of Jamaica, Barbados, OECS and Trinidad and Tobago as well as developments in the global and emerging markets. The issues sessions of the conference addressed (1) Dominant Shareholders in Listed Companies (2) The Importance of local ownership of financial institutions to the development of an international financial centre and (3) Regulatory Issues relating to the BS&T Saga.
