Nadia Millington has extensive experience in strategy development and implementation through an executive tenure as VP of Planning and Development at a leading insurance company and successful strategic and operational consulting engagements at several local financial institutions in both the private and public sectors. Prior to focusing on strategy, Nadia developed specialist skills in all aspects of the project implementation from initial feasibility and conceptual design through documentation, external dependencies coordination, risk assessment, implementation of risk mitigation strategies and user training. She was a member of the 7 man Community College Implementation Team (CCIT) that led the merger of seven disparate Colleges in Trinidad into COSTAAT and worked on many IT projects, some of which utilized SAP technology. Nadia was awarded a distinction in her MBA from University of Bath, UK where she focused on Strategic consulting and was given the prize for the most outstanding MBA consulting project. Her international experience includes work as a Financial Accounting Analyst at Fortune 500 Pitney Bowes Management Ltd in the UK and MBA projects involving Boots Pharmacy -Strategic plan to combat declining market share using the Actifeld Methodology and Audit Commission -Change management to facilitate a new approach to work. She obtained her first degree, B.Sc in Management Studies, from the University of the West Indies.
Sonja S. Teelucksingh Sonja S. Teelucksingh has many years of experience in econometric work in the Caribbean region. She has written extensively on macro-econometric modeling and is expert in utilizing modern VAR approaches to forecasting. A Lecturer in Mathematics, Statistics and Econometrics at both the undergraduate and postgraduate levels at the University of the West Indies (St. Augustine), she holds a Ph.D. in Environmental Economics and Environmental Management from the University of York (United Kingdom). Apart from her work in quantitative economic analysis and forecasting, she also researches and consults on regional environmental issues, including environmental valuation, natural resource management, biological diversity and environmental accounting.
